What is your opinion about using chemical fertilizers ?

Chemical fertilizers : Any inorganic material of synthetic origin that is added to a soil to supply one or more plant nutrients essential to the growth of plants.

Pesticides: A chemical or biological agent (such as a virus, bacterium, antimicrobial or disinfectant) that through its effect discourages pests.

Advantages and disadvantages of using chemical fertilizers:

• Good for poor soils for immediate results
• Excessive use of fertilizers over a long period may affect the alkalinity or acidity of the soil and may adversely affect the crop production.
