What is your oponion about killing or cutting on a tree? Is it justified to cut trees

The killing of trees/ deforestation is not at all justified. Trees play a crucial role in slowing down the rate of global warming by absorbing the carbon dioxide present in the air.
Trees are the source of life as they provide food as well as oxygen. Apart from all this, trees are the natural shelter of many animals. Many animals encroach into human territories when forests are destroyed.
Thus, we should not encourage activities like deforestation. We all should take pledge to plant more and more trees in order to keep our environment healthy. Instead of gifting expensive gifts, we should give indoor plants as gifts to our near and dear ones. This will promote the idea of 'Go green'. Thus, in every possible way we should try to save our environment by saving trees.
