Morphallaxis is the process of regeneration of lost tissues mainly observed in lower organisms like cnidarian hydra.When hydra is cut in two pieces accidentally or intentionally in laboratory, it regenerates its lost tissues mainly by reorganization or  exchange of remaining tissues.
