what kind of atmosphere is there at pashupatinath temple ?

The atmosphere at Pashupatinath temple is that of complete chaos. Different people are involved in different kinds of activities. Devotees, priests, hawkers, animals, birds, etc. keep roaming here and there. Everybody, be it animal or human, is just pushing each other to reach his desired position. Amid all this, the most confusing thing is the message outside the temple that reads 'Entrance for Hindus only' which comes across a clear marker of discrimination.
