What led to the spread of miniature painting
Dear Student,
During the Mughal period, miniature paintings were patronized by various Mughal rulers like Jahangir, Akbar and Shah Jahan. Even after the decline of the Mughal empire, miniature paintings flourished all over the Indian subcontinent. This is because prior to the downfall of the Mughals, these painters moved into the Deccan regional courts and Rajput courts in Rajasthan.
