what lesson does the super cyclone in the story teach the inhabitants of the areas living near the sea?........refer to chapter weathering storm in ersama

Dear student,

The theme of the chapter 'Weathering the Storm in Ersma' is that our courage, fortitude and presence of mind helps us tide over even the worst of hurdles. Prashant faced deep sorrow, yet stepped up to rehabilitating the people affected by the natural disaster. Being prepared for a natural disaster is of paramount importance for the people living in coastal regions. There has to be an evacuation plan in place in case of a cyclone or tsunami. The first step towards achieving that is to spread awareness of the reality of such a disaster befalling the people. The next step is to educate the people about the small steps that can be taken to reduce damage to life and property. Earmarked areas for housing people in case of a natural disaster, setting up emergency contact lines, having surplus ration to feed the victims: these tasks need to be addressed with the cooperation of the local government.
