What made Aram full of nostalgia

When thinking of the one summer, when he learnt how to ride a white horse, Aram became nostalgic. He begins by saying that, one day back in the good old days when he was nine and the world was full of every imaginable kind of magnificence, and life was still a delightful and mysterious dream, Mourad stole a white horse.
