what makes gulliver  leave house?

 

Gulliver was recommended by Mr. Bates to work as a surgeon in ship named swallow, under captain Abraham Pannel. He worked there for three and half years. Later he decided to settle in London, which was agreed by Mr. Bates. He encouraged Gulliver to be a practicing surgeon in London. He married Mrs. Mary Burton, for mercenary benefits. Despite the honest recommendations for Gulliver by Mr. Bates, He failed to achieve success as a settled surgeon. Gulliver left his house to get back to his trade, that of a practicing surgeon at sea.
