what occupies space b/wcell wall & shrunken protoplast in plasmolysed cell?what wud be the pressure potential of flaccid cell?  pls ans me!

The outer solution with high salt concentration (hypertonic solution) occupies the space between the cell wall and the shrunken protoplast in the plasmolysed cell. In solutions, including the inside of cells, the pressure potential can be negative, zero, or positive. A plasmolyzed cell, where the plasma membrane has pulled away from the cell wall, has a negative pressure potential. In contrast, a turgid cell in hypotonic medium has a positive pressure potential.

hi.....the space is occupied by hypertonic solution in which plasmolysed cell is present.
