What opinion did you form of Natalya after reading the proposal?

Natalya is a woman of twenty-five years. She is a good housekeeper and an educated girl with good looks. She is the lead female character of the play and the daughter of Chubukov. She is short-tempered, dominating, and assertive. She indulges in unnecessary quarrels over Oxen Meadows and the superiority of dogs with Lomov. She even insults him with harsh words. She has no such respect for Lomov till she came to know that he wants to marry her. She was selfish and desperate to get married and she doesn’t lose the opportunity of marrying Lomov.
