What opinion do you form of Lomov after reading the Proposal?

Lomov was a simple and straightforward person. He suffered from nervous breakdowns and got confused easily. He was thirty-five years old and wanted to settle down in life. He decided it would be a good idea to propose to Chubukov's daughter, Natalya. She belonged to a wealthy family and their social status matched. She was also well educated, a good housekeeper, and not bad-looking. When he went to Chubukov's house to propose, he got nervous. He started a logical argument but could not convenience both Chubukov and Natalya about the ownership of meadows or the superiority of his dogs. His excitable nature made him anxious and it increased his palpitations. He easily lost his temper, had low self-esteem, and lacked confidence.
