What opionion do you form of Chubukov after reading the proposal?

Chubukov is a rich landlord and a neighbour of Lomov. He is short-tempered and rash in behaviour. He wants Lomov to be married to his daughter, Natalya. When he came to know that Lomov had arrived at his place to talk about the ownership of land, he forgets the main issue and joins the quarrels between Lomov and Natalya. Instead of quitting the quarrel, he adds only fuel to the fire. He can be abusive and insulting. However, as soon as Chubukov knew the real reason for Lomov's arrival was to propose to Natalya, he got very excited. He grabs the opportunity and blesses them in the end.
