What precautions will you take to measure the length of the table top accurately???

 Please answer me .. i am eagerly waiting for the answer!!

No one answered me!! and this question was in my exam !! and i couldn't answer it!! for that reason i got 9 out of 10 in science !!! this question was of 1 mark!! i'm really upset!! because in friday i got my test copy that is 17/08/2012!!! :( Please answer me now also ....my test is over still i want to know the answer!! please answer me ...for god's sake answer me!! please!!! i'm waiting for the answer!!! :( : ( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( : ( :(

You must take the following precautions while using various instruments for measuring length : 

  • The scale should be place along the length to be measured. 
  • Your eye must be in front of and in line where the measurement is to be taken. 
  • Ensure that the ends of the scale are not worn-out.

First we have to keep the scale or the thing ur using for measuring and then sit straight in front not side and we get a correct answer with this precaution
