what problems did  shifting cultivators face under the british rule

as we know in shifting agriculture people move from one place to another especially in forests

but under british rule  forests weredivided into 3 types i.e. reserved forest etc.

so shifters were not allowed to go in . if govt. allows them to go so they had to pay largre taxes.
