What role do the monsoons play in determining the weather and climate in India?

Monsoon is defined as a seasonal change in the direction of the strongest prevailing wind. In India during summers monsoons bring rainfall and humidity and hence seasonal change. Strong or weak monsoons has their own effect and influence the climate, economy and life of people.
