What's meant by the terms 'crop scheduling' and 'crop cafeteria'?
- Scheduling. Scheduling is an important part of greenhouse crop production. To successfully schedule a crop, a grower has to decide the week of the year that a crop will be marketed, and then work backwards to determine the date of seed sowing or planting (depending on the crop).
- Crop cafeteria is the demonstration of identified efficient crops in agro-metrological region offering an opportunity to the farmers to choose a suitable crop.
