What's the difference between SIMPLE PAST TENSE and PAST PERFECT TENSE?
So, which one is correct__I saw this movie yesterday. OR___I had seen this movie yesterday.

Dear student,

The simple past  is a verb tense which is used to show that a completed action took place at a specific time in the past.
For example: I ate my
dinner an hour ago.
We use past perfect to talk about something that happened before another action in the past, which is usually expressed by the past simple.
For example: I had eaten my dinner when he came.

The correct option:
I saw this movie yesterday.
