What should be done with both equations?

Dear Student,
You cannot equate the two equation since both the equations are not equal. However, if you write the equation in terms of K then you can equate them.
So, for the equations in its present form, you should divide the two equations. Because you need to find x which you can only determine by eliminating the constant K whose value is not known.
