What sort of inequality prevails in the villages?

Several types of inequality prevail in villages.

1. Social inequality: Village society may be divided along caste lines with people of lower caste facing discrimination.
2. Economic inequality: A limited number of people in villages are rich while a vast majority are poor.
3. Political inequality: People who face social discrimination or are poor may not be able to exercise their political choices in election freely. They may be intimidated by the rich and members of higher castes in the voting process. The poor and lower caste may also face routine violation of their fundamental rights. Such factors lead to political inequality.
