What sort of relationship did Anne have with Peter initially and after
Ans this in detail

I agree with you. Things were much more simple and innocent in those times, and it just doesn't seem right that they went so far as to have sex. I don't know about Peter, but Anne had morals and I don't think she went all the way. True, she and Peter kissed and touched and cuddled, but I truly think that was as far as it went.

You're right that Peter and Anne's relationship has been portrayed and seen in a variety of ways, but to me it was a romantic friendship, and had it not been for the age, hormones, emotions and confinement, I think it would've remained strictly a friendship.

I also agree with you that Anne's writing abilities and the fact she wrote every entry emotionally enabled her to describe what happened well. That definitely played a role. I've read books about Anne by Mirjam Pressler too, and found them very informative, but I'm surprised she would suggest Anne had an orgasm. I don't think she did, but that's just my personal opinion.

I think some people probably read too much into Anne and Peter's relationship. I truly believe it was a simple and sweet romantic friendship where they experienced new feelings and what it feels like to be touched...but not as intimately as others may think.
