the sprinting trees were young , powerful , full of joy ,, unlike the mother who was aged , weak , pale face

When the poetess looked away from her ageing mother, she saw the young trees outside the window.The trees unlike her own mother, were full of the enthusiasm of youth and were brimming with joy. Her mother, on the other hand was old and weak. She was pale and the old age had brought with itself the ache of senility.
