What type of economic activities was going on in Russia during 1914

Dear Student,

a. Economy of Russia before the Russian revolution was mostly agrarian. 
b. Almost 85% of Russia's population lived in villages. Over 80% of the population was engaged in agriculture.
c. Most farmers were peasants cultivating small plots of land.
d.The farmers produced for themselves as well as for the market
e. The society was characterised by strikes unrest by the peasants who demanded land of the nobles to be transferred to them
f.  Industrialisation  started very late in Russia,with most industries were privately owned, with pathetic working conditions that made workers suffer.
