Dear student,
a. Tsar Nicholas II, ruled the Russian empire in 1914, who was an autocratic ruler.
b. The Tsar could not tolerate any challenge to his authority and his rule was not subject to control or regulation by the Parliament.
c. Under his regime the nobility enjoyed high position and power for their services rendered to the Tsar.
d. The Czarist regime was completely insensitive to the plight of the common people.
e. The workers were given low wages, had to work under terrible conditions.
f.  No political parties were allowed to function in Russia till before 1914.
g. Industrialisation  started very late in Russia, it was primarily an agrarian economy  with 85% of the population being dependent on agriculture. The farmers produced for themselves as well as for the market
h. The society was characterised by strikes unrest by the peasants who demanded land of the nobles to be transferred to them
i. Most industries were privately owned, with pathetic working conditions that made workers suffer,

The "Bloody Sunday"is responsible for the revolution in Russian because it gave rise to protests after the mass killings of the poor steel workers who were gunned down by Tsar's forces ,peasant unrest was seen, political mobilisation took place which laid down the base for the 1905 revolution.
   Regards
