what was the condition of the two roads

in the road not taken, the first road was filled with footsteps whereas the second road wanted to be walked upon and was grassy. both the roads had their own pros and cons and were equally fair. the author took the second road as he chose the path noone wanted to take.

Both the roads were full of grass and black leaves that signify of less people stepping on them. The poet did not feel much difference between the 2 roads but took another road as he wanted to try something different in his life.
