Ans-1   The main features of bhakti are -

- It is a loving relationship between devotee and his god.

- Anybody whether rich or poor, could follow the path of bhakti.

- Sacrifices and rituals as moral of worship.

- Purity of heart and mind.

 

Ans-2  - Pottery, especially bowls and plates were found on several archeological sites throughout the subcontinent.

             - South India was famous for gold species, especially pepper and precious stones. Pepper was particularly valued in roman empire.

             - Traders explore several sea routes. Some of these follow the coasts. There are some in Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal where sailors took the advantage of monsoon winds.

Answer: The main features of bhakti are: (i) A loving relationship between a devotee and his personal god. (ii) Bhakti emphasised devotion and individual worship of a god or goodess rather than performance elaborate sacrifices.
