• what were the main features of bhakti?
  • what kind of evidence do historians use to find about trade & trade route?

Hi Annubhuti

  • The main features of Bhakti were - emphasis on the devotion and individual worship of a deity rather than the performance of sacrifices. Another feature was the housing of deities in temples.

  • To find out about trade and trade routes, historians use evidence present in the literature of the period. E.g. − the Sangam literature.
