The objectives of the Azad Hind Fauj was the aim of the army was to overthrow the British Raj in colonial India, with Japanese assistance. Subhash Chandra Bose said, " Friends, soldiers let your war cry be only one! ‘Dilli Chalo!’ (On to Delhi) I do not know how many of us would personally survive; but I know, victory is ours. So stand up and take your arms. In India the revolutionaries have already prepared a path for you and this will lead us to Delhi…. Dilli Chalo!”
