what will be the kineic energy of a body when its mass is made 4 times and velocity is doubled?

Kinetic energy, EK = 1/2 * m * vEquation 1

When the mass of the body is quadrupled, new mass, m1 = 4m  and v' = 2 v Equation 2

New kinetic energy , EK 1 = 1/2 * m1 * v'2

 

= 1/2 * 4m * 4v2 From Equation 2

= 1/2 * m * v* 16

EK = E* 16  From Equation 1

Thus, when mass is quadrupled and velocity is doubled , kinetic energy increases by 16 times. Experts, and friends, like please :D
