What will happen if the optic nerve is
destroyed??

Dear Student , The optic nerve is the nerve that connects the eye to the brain. The optic nerve transmits the information of the image formed in the retina to the brain. Hence if the optic nerve is damaged then brain will not be able to receive information and it will lead to blindness. Regards
