What will happen if we eat red ants?

Dear students,
If we eat red ants nothing is going to happen because red ants are not vectors of any pathogen and therefore they will not spread disease but rather will be digested in the stomach with the secretion of digestive juices and hydrochloric acid.

Well you ate red ants and that too common ones and nit wild one. So, they are not poisonous. You just got some extra proteininto your diet. ... There can only be a lil food poisoning/stomach upsetness if you ate hell lot of those tiny creatures due to the inability of your body to digest the enzymes in ants.
