If there are no decomposers, then

There will be no recycling of nutrients such Nitrogen,
Phosphorous, Sulphur, etc as decomposers are responsible for most
of the recycling which returns dead material to the soil in a form
in which it can be reused
All the biodegradable wastes (garbage, dead animals and plants)
will accumulate and this will cause environmental pollution
