What will happen when a mature spirogyra filament attain its considerable length?

it ill start to reproduce by dividing itself into number of fragments.....later these fragments grow into an individual spirogyra....this method is known as fragmentation....

It is the accidental process when the broken pieces of an organism (fragments) grows into a complete organism.Example- Spirogyra.

The matured spirogyra would detach from parent spirogyra and develop into a new individual spirogyra

its an non intentional process in short

it will divide into a no. of fragments which  will then grow into an individual spirogyra and this type of asexual reproduction is called fragmentation
  • 1
If a mature spirogyra attains considerable length it gets fragmented to form a new organism .
  • 11
When the spirogyara attains considerable length then it will divide and grow into new individuals separately.

  • 2
If a mature spirogygra will reach a considerable length, its reproductive age will begin. This can be marked by the ability of spirogyra to reproduce itself. Since, spirogyra reproduces by fragmentation, it may reproduce to form new individuals asexually by fragmentation.

I hope this helps.

it will start reproduc new individuals of spiroyga by dividing itself into no. of fragments. These fragments grow after some day. This method is known as fragmentation.

it wiill get divided into fargments and later it will develop and become a new indiviDUAL

When a spirogyra filament reaches its considerable length it starts it break into small  fragments which later upon continous cell division develops into adult spirogyra  which later contiuous the process of fragmentation to reproduce.
Hope this helps...

do not know

If this happens, then the matured spirogyra divides itself into a number of pieces by the asexual mode of reproduction i.e.fragmentation and this life-cycle of spirogyra continues in this way.

then spirogyra start  dividing itself in many part  then its part develop and form many individual.

IT WILL BREAK DOWN INTO PIECES AND EACH PIECE WILL GROW INTO A NEW SPIROGYRA. THIS PROCESS OF ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION IS CALLED FRAGMENTATION.
  • 1
the spyrogyra will break into two or more fragments hence will reproduce. the parent organism will be no more as it's been divided,

when a mature  spirogyra attain its considerable length ,it breaks down into small pieces and grow into new individuals,

When spirogyra filament attains considerable length then it starts itself reproduce into new numbers of filament. These filament grow into many spirogyras and process known as fregmentation

When this happens fragmentation occurs

It's filaments breaks up into smaller fragments or pieces , and each fragment grows into a new individual.... Hope this helps....
  • -1
The mature spirogyra would get seprated from the offspring and start living individually
