when a wire of uniform cross section a,length l and resistance R is bent into complete circular path, Resistance between two of diameter opposite points will be

hi Nitesh Thakre,
Please find below the solution to the asked query:

as the length of the wire is l,

when it is bend to form a circle, each semicircle is of length l/2 between the two opposite diametric points

As we know R is directly proportional to l when area of cross section is constant.

so
R1R2=l1l2so RR1  =ll/2 or ,R1 = R/2R is resistance of the total length of the wirewhere R1is the resistance of the wire of the semicircular length between the diametric opposite points :As these two sections are in parallel connectionso1Req =1R1+1R1so1Req  = 1 R/2+ 1 R/2 =4Rso Req = R4

R/4, now two R/2 resistors are connected in parallel.
