When did Mandela's hunger for self ,turn into a hunger for freedom for all his people

Dear student,

For decades, South Africa had been in the grips of apartheid. In his youth, Mandela realised that it was not just his freedom that was curtailed, but the freedom of all the people of his community. His hunger for freedom turned from a purely selfish nature to one that included the others who were oppressed around him. He worked hard and long towards achieving a non-racial society.

Nelson Mandela’s hunger for freedom turned from personal level to turn into a hunger for freedom for all his people.  In his youth itself Mandela realized not only his freedom his abridged but at the same time the condition of the other black people are also similar. He had a desire to craft a no-racial society and this leads him in the path where he stands for the freedom of his own people. He fought and scarifies his comfort for a grate cause.
