when ethyl and methyl are together in a organic compound, naming will be as per alphabet but numbering will start from methyl or ethyl ?

Dear student,
As per the latest IUPAC norms, the naming should be done in alphabetical order but while doing the numbering we should prefer the lowest number to the lowest alkyl group
