Dear student , the color which is mentioned in your question are the color from color spectrum. We have VIBGYOR sequence of colors in colour spectrum of light these are visible range. And from V to R the frequency decreases and wavelength increases. So as per this sequence, Violet has maximum frequency while orange has frequency lesser than it. And we know that frequency of incident radiation is directly proportional to the speed of ejected electron provided frequency must be greater than threshold frequency.
