When to use though

Dear Student,
Though refers to "however/despite the fact/ nevertheless".
You can use it as "conjunction" at the beginning of a sentence or when joining two different sentences. You can also use "though" at the end of a sentence.
E.g. Though she's rude, she's smart.

Given below is an example in which though is a conjunction.

Though is a co-ordinate conjunction because it coordinates two parts and brings them together.
Example - Though it was raining, he went to office.
