When we see something we are scared of like a snake , we feel a sudden feeling in the heart. Is this due to the hormone adrenalin? After a few seconds only our heart rate increases and all other required functions are brought about by the hormone adrenalin. However how can the hormone adrenalin reach the heart as soon as we see a snake?

You have correctly described the role of hormone adrenaline. I would like to make you clear that actions of hormones in our body are much faster than what is happening in our surroundings.
