When your mother boils water in a container covered by a lid. You see that water starts boiling
after some time and the lid of the container rises up and falls down, again and again.
What does this observation suggest????Plzz explain and answer properly......

Solution:
When water boils in a pot with a loose lid, the vapours of water is formed due to heating. This vapour is trapped between the water surface and the lid. The pressure of water vapour gets build up. The increased pressure forces the lid upward, releasing steam and reducing the pressure in the pot so that the lid drops back down. If the water continues to boil, the lid can rattle upward and downward.
