Which cells produce cytokines

Dear student,
Cytokines are the proteins that help in cell signaling and affect the behaviour of cells.
Lymphokines, interferons, tumour necrosis factor, which cause inflammation and response to infection are cytokines.
Cytokines modulate the immune system in response to infection.
Cytokines are produced by a broad range of cells, including immune cells like macrophages, B lymphocytes, T lymphocytes and mast cells, as well as endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and various stromal cells.
