Which crop replenishes nitrogen and why? name any one rabi crop and kharif crop which replinshes  nitrogen in the soil..

Leguminous plants such as hairy vetch, field peas replenish nitrogen as there are certain bacteria like Rhizobium present associated with the root nodules of these plants which convert atmospheric nitrogen into ammonia which can be used easily by plants. Sone and khesari are some of the nitrogen fixing Rabi crops. Crops like rice and soyabean are examples of kharif crops that fix nitrogen.
