Which curve shows Charle's law? 


Dear Student,

Charles law statement states " The volume of a given mass of a gas at constant pressure is directly proportional to absolute temperature".

Formula is V1 / T1 = V2 / T2 

(1) ​In the graphs above, the first graph shows that V is directly proportional to the absolute temperature

(2) The second graph shows that, if the temperature is in oC, the graph does not pass through the origin

(3) The third graph shows V is indirectly proportional to the absolute temperature

(4) 1/V value is always constant for all values of 1/T

Hence answer is Option (2)
