Which is more dangerous or corrosive - hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid .

Dear student,

Sulphuric acid is more harmful than hydrochloric acid, this is because when we take the same amount of both the acids, sulphuric acid will release more hydrogen ions as it contains 2 hydrogen ions whereas hydrochloric acid will release 1 hydrogen ion.

There are many more concepts that will explain that sulphuric acid is more dangerous than hydrochloric acid. But both the acids are strong acids which means they both will show lethal effects on our skin cells.

Dear student,

Sulfuric acid is much more harmful than HCl. Both acids are classified as strong acids, meaning that they dissociate pretty much completely into protons and salts in water. So, at high concentrations, both are equally lethal to your skin.

Regards.
