which is more hot when heated liquid or gas

Dear Student,

First let us understand what is Hot and Cold.

There is no specific thing as hot/ cold or heating/ cooling. The absolute zero is the lowest temperature theoretically possible. i.e. 0K = -273.15oC.

All the real substances deviate from ideal behaviour as the states change fro gas to liquid and then to solid upon cooling.
Also, NO substance is yet known to experimentally exist at that temperature. Some substances which have been cooled close to this, are called superfluids.

If we take one particular substance, whether it is hotter in liquid or gaseous state, depends upon the pressure as well. So, there is no specific answer as yes/no.
