which is prime number?

Hi Neha!

A prime number is a natural number having exactly two factors.

I.e., A prime number is a natural number having exactly two distinct divisors (I.e., 1 and the number itself).

Example: 2 is a prime number because it has only two factors, i.e., 1 and 2.

6 is not a prime number because it has more than two factors.

[Factors of 6 are 1, 2, 3, and 6]

Cheers!
