Which is the easiest way of representing data ?

The easiest way to represent data depends on the data to be represented.

For example: The data showing rainfall per year for various years is best represented by a histogram. It would not be  appropriate to represent this data by a pie-chart.

The information about the various expenses of a person is best represented by a pie-chart or a bar-graph.
