Which method is used to separate benzene from water

A mixture containing water and benzene can be separated into its constituents with the help of separating funnel: Water and Benzene are not miscible with each other, so they can be separated using separating funnel where the heavier liquid (water) will form a lower layer and lighter liquid (Benzene) will form an upper layer.
