CH3)2O +BF3 ----> (this reaction happens and it forms an adduct while (ch3)2O will not form an adduct if BF4- is used (B) (SiH3)2O + BF3 ---> this reaction does not form any adduct since oxygen is electronegative and the bulky SiH3 groups are too wide and occupies a huge space arround the oxygen molecule and does not allow Oxygen to donate its lone pair (C) (SiH3)3N +BF3 ---> this reaction also forms adduct although its hard but since nitrogen is less electronegative and donates its lone pair easily to form an adduct...... Thus answer is B.........🙂
