Ans. The color of urine is due to the presence of urobilin.

Pale yellow colour of the urine is due to the presence of urobilin which is the breakdown product of heme from hemoglobin formed during the destruction of aging red blood corpuscles.
Water in which inorganic salts, organic compounds such as proteins, hormones, and other metabolites are dissolved forms the urine. Urea is the major waste product present in the urine.
