Which reforms were resented by indian people and why??? Please anwer fast.

The religious reforms were resented and opposed by Indians as they felt it a direct attack and interference in their religious matters.The Indian society was ridden with the evil customs like sati etc for which Britishers passed certain laws to curb those evils like sati.The laws made to remove these social evils done in the name of religion were met with opposition by people including conservative and orthodox mindset.
